A BIT ABOUT ME

My work embraces the philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness. Whether in illustration or 3D animation, I adhere to the principle of "show, not tell," allowing space for ambiguity and interpretation. Through subtle gestures, atmospheric compositions, and restrained expressions, I invite the viewer to engage with the work on an intuitive level, discovering their own narratives within the imagery.

My 3D animation embraces a mysterious yet meticulously crafted aesthetic, seamlessly blending hyperreal textures with surreal compositions. Rather than relying on direct exposition, I embed meaning through intricate character design, immersive environments, nuanced lighting, and expressive motion capture, allowing visual subtleties to speak for themselves. These films weave quiet, immersive worlds, where the delicate tension between compliance and resistance, control and individuality unfolds—not through overt action, but through carefully composed visual metaphors that invite contemplation and introspection.

Similarly, my illustrations evoke a fragile, ephemeral world, where figures exist in suspended moments of introspection. Inspired by traditional aesthetics and poetic storytelling, I depict fragmented scenes that encourage the audience to observe rather than be told. Subtle details—such as a breeze through grass or an obscured gaze—become metaphors for memory, longing, and fleeting beauty.

Both my animation and illustration share a delicate balance between reality and illusion, presence and absence. By weaving together elements of surrealism, wabi-sabi, and quiet storytelling, my work offers a space for contemplation—where meaning is not imposed but gently suggested, waiting to be found.
